Forget the Oscars, What Was Your Movie of the Year?
Academy, schmademy. This Sunday, the Oscar for Best Picture goes to Slumdog Millionaire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Milk, Frost/Nixon or The Reader (bet on Slumdog). Here at Fandango, though, we have a much more scientific way of gauging such things. We leave it up to you, the box office moviegoer, to tell us which film truly deserves the honor "2008 Movie of the Year." Unlike Oscar's tally, our list of nominees does include The Dark Knight (as well as worthy, critical hits such as Wall-E and Iron Man, and the seven other '08 top grossers). We'll present the final award at this year's ShoWest event, which, if you take the poll and fill out an entry form, may include you in the audience.
