Clint Eastwood hasn't starred in a film since 2008's Gran Torino, which makes his leading role in Trouble with the Curve all the more special. The first two images from the film have appeared courtesy of Entertainment Weekly and find the film icon in two-shots with his co-stars Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake.
The film follows Eastwood as an aging Atlanta Braves scout whose eyesight is failing. With his job on the line, he hits the road with his daughter (Adams) to help him scout a new prospect (Timberlake).
Since this is a drama, father and daughter have a tense relationship that gradually changes as we barrel toward the end credits. You can also bet that there's sparks between Adams and Timberlake.
But we'll leave all that for when the film hits screens on September 28. For now, check out the two new pics, below.
