Pirates of the Caribbean‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ to Shoot Back-to-Back Sequels?

Disney proved they want to continue their Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise by moving forward with On Stranger Tides, due out on May 20th, but what about past that? Well HitFix claims via a Disney source that the studio is asking cast and crew to set aside a major block of time so that they can shoot Pirates 5 and 6 back-to-back in the same way they shot parts 2 and 3.
No word yet on where the stories will be coming from, or how they’ll snag Johnny Depp away from his busy schedule to shoot an additional two movies, but it sounds like Disney is eager to keep making Pirates films in order to capitalize on it being one of their most successful franchises ever. HitFix imagines we’ll start hearing more about the next two sequels as the release date for On Stranger Tides approaches.

Two Face (and Aaron Eckhart) Not Returning for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
In case there was any question as to whether Aaron Eckhart would be returning to the role of Two Face in The Dark Knight Rises (even though he kinda died in The Dark Knight), the actor has revealed that he won’t be returning. Eckhart says he met with Christopher Nolan and asked him point-blank whether he’d be returning as Two Face, to which Nolan simply responded, “No”.
Super 8 alien?Honestly, this is a good thing. Who needs to see the same villain played out across two films? Eckhart’s Two Face was fun to watch, but he was also a little hokey. I say we get some new villains and leave the past … in the past. What say you?
‘Super 8’ Alien Revealed?
An image claiming to be concept art of the alien featured in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming flick Super 8 has arrived online, and we’re extremely wary. Not only does it look like fanboy art left over from Cloverfield, but it also comes with the following description from an IMDB user: “So, my friends's brother's wife works for a company that does marketing for films, video games, music, etc. Occasionally she'll get chain mails from these companies which aren't supposed to go to them. A few days ago she received a chain mail intended for production staff within Paramount."
Yeah, anytime something comes from “my friend’s brother’s wife”, that usually means we’re in trouble. Still, I wouldn’t mind seeing this tear apart something or someone in some future Hollywood movie. What do you think? [via JoBlo]
