We here at Fandango were just slipped some pretty nifty photos from the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that you won’t see anywhere else. There are three photos in total, and each represents a different aspect of the highly-anticipated film. First up we have our hero Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) preparing for his first year of college; carrying boxes to his dorm room like your average kid with help from his parents (Kevin Dunn and Julie White). Hmm, I wonder if a bunch of other-worldly robots will soon show up to throw a wrench in Sam’s college plans? Whaddya think?
Next up we have one of the coolest images I’ve seen from the film so far, and it features what looks to be Sam speeding along in his shiny, yellow Camaro, Remember, that Camaro also doubles as the robot Bumblebee, Sam’s best pal and bodyguard.
Finally, we have a shot of director Michael Bay, who returns for the sequel hell-bent on upping everything: the number of robots, the battle scenes, the special effects, the explosions, the exotic locations (they travel to the Pyramids in Egypt in this installment) and the various skimpy outfits co-star Megan Fox gets to wear (ahem, my favorite part). With Bay at the helm, there’s no doubt this will go down as summer’s biggest film – the only question that remains is: Are you ready for it?
