In theaters November 1, Ender's Game originates from a novel published back in 1985 but it's only now being envisioned on the big screen. And guess what? Your wait is almost over--tickets go on sale today.

In the movie, Asa Butterfield (Hugo) plays Ender, a young boy who leaves Earth for a distant planet where he trains with other kids to fight an alien race known as the Formics.

On Monday we'll post the second in our three-part set visit (check out part one first, about how three different worlds were created for the movie), a look at the intense detail that went into making the weightless Battle Room where young Ender learns the ropes. In the meantime, take a look at this video, "Building Ender's World," for more on the movie's effects. Then, go get your tickets.
