This summer's hit horror sequel Don't Breathe 2 is now available to watch on demand on Vudu.
What has the mysterious Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) been doing for the past few years? In Don't Breathe 2, we learn that the wily, unsighted survivor of a deadly home invasion has been living a quiet life in a new location. He is content to enjoy his peaceful existence without bothering anyone else, but is also ready on a moment's notice to defend himself and his home.
In our exclusive extended preview of the film, Norman is lured outside when his beloved pet does not respond to the promise of a meal. It's lonely, it's dark and three shadowy figures prepare to make a stealthy sneak attack on Norman's home. Inside the house, they know enough about Norman to move as quietly as possible. Outside, Norman makes an unwelcome, bloody discovery. The silence inside is then shattered when a bullet crashes through the night.
“This is my favorite shot in the film for many reasons, director Rodo Sayagues told Vudu in advance of debuting this scene. "Besides being an homage to the long and tense tracking shot of the first Dont Breathe, we were able to use the same visual language to get into Madelyn’s head. And to remain in her frightening POV. So we feel what she feels. Although setting up a shot like this is extremely difficult with a lot of moving parts, I felt it encapsulates the terror of being home, alone, and having intruders enter your home.”
