Don Cheadle talked with MTV at Comic-Con about the conflict between James "Rhodey" Rhodes  and Tony Stark in Iron Man 3. He explained, "We’ve got a private sector and a public sector, or rather a military version of Iron Man. And I think there is a desire from the powers that be to make sure that those things are distinguished and distinguishable so that we know where everybody stands. I think that’s kind of the tension that is created for Tony and for Rhodey, because like who’s really got the stick, and who really gets to decide what happens in certain situations?" Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzmann and Ruth Wilson have signed on to Disney's Saving Mr. Banks. The film tells the story of Walt Disney's drama in making the classic film Mary Poppins. Tom Hanks is already signed on to play Disney while Emma Thompson is playing author P.L. Travers.

Jon Favreau offered an update on the theme park fantasy flick Magic Kingdom, which he's been attached to for a couple years now. Favreau revealed a vague plot saying the movie would follow a family who wind up in "an alternative reality version" of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom theme park. The story has also previously been described as a Disney take on Night at the Museum. [Crave Online]

In other Favreau news, he'll put on his acting shoes to join Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, playing a securities lawyer opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.

Warner Bros. has bumped the release date for Gangster Squad to January 11, 2013.

Last week, we learned that Kenneth Branagh would not only be directing the long-waited Jack Ryan reboot, but he'd also be playing the lead villain. In an interview with Collider, Branagh explained that he was actually first approached to play the villain and then the directing offer came later on. "I don’t tend to think of [my character] as a villain, but if you’re playing a villain, you don’t think of him as a villain. You just think, ‘My guy.’ The character is a great anti-thesis, but it isn’t as simple as that. It’s great to see a character in this film with Jack Ryan. It’s just a very strong, very interesting, complicated, complex character." [Collider]

Producer Frank Marshall has been in the news a lot over the past couple of days with talk about a fifth Bourne movie swirling in the lead-up to the release of The Bourne Legacy. Now comes word from Marshall that there may not be a fifth Indiana Jones movie. "I say, for me, [Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is] the last hurrah.  I know that yes, we talk about it, but there’s no idea, there’s no MacGuffin." He adds that George Lucas isn't hungry to do another film. [Collider]

In case you hadn't heard, Kristen Stewart admitted to and apologized for having an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Stewart issued a statement saying, "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him."

Speaking of Stewart, it was confirmed today that Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer will play her love interest in the gritty action pic Cali. The film revolves around two San Fernando Valley lovers who sell a fake snuff film and take off with the cash. Years later, Stewart's character returns to save the younger sister she abandoned. In what seems to be a new trend in Hollywood, director Len Wiseman revealed that the BluRay version of Total Recall will contain a director's cut that's 17 minutes longer than the theatrical version arriving next weekend.

Filming has wrapped on Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. After 126 days of filming, the film now moves into the editing phase in preparation for its December 25 release.
