Well, if The Dark Knight's opening wasn't enough for movie and comic book fans, this week brings the arrival of another fanboy favorite, The X-Files: I want to Believe, and in San Diego, lots of panting and previewing of what's in store for the rest of 2008 and beyond in the form of comic books, comic book movies and everything else related to the art form at the annual Comic-Con. We'll be there (as well as a lot of our Comcast bretheren), and will be sure to bring you the latest as it happens, with updates, photos and lots more.

Some of the movies/celebs scheduled to make appearances throughout the Con: The Day the Earth Stood Still stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly; Max Payne's Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis; vampire cult favorite novel-turned-upcoming movie Twilight and its lead actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and director Catherine Hardwicke; 300 director Zack Snyder and the cast of his 2009 graphic novel adaptation, Watchmen; the guys behind Terminator: Salvation, Lionsgate's The Spirit, Universal's The Wolfman and plenty of other A-list talent. Comic book guru Kevin Smith and his posse will be in town to talk about Zack & Miri Make a Porno, and we'll have the word from Pineapple Express star Seth Rogen, who's working on a big screen version of the Green Hornet.
Check back for coverage tomorrow throughout the weekend, and take a look through our Comic-Con photo gallery for more pics from the show...
