Tickets are now on sale for Bottoms. The raunchy, subversive comedy, which took SXSW by storm earlier this year, comes to theaters nationwide on August 25.
Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of teen movies in which unpopular high school students launch schemes to attract popular students. But we’ve never seen one like Bottoms, which puts queer teenage girls front and center – or one that involves the teens starting a fight club to teach other girls how to defend themselves.
In our exclusive clip, the teens at the center of the controversy have a showdown with their school’s principal, who’s much more concerned with protecting his football team than with girls protecting themselves.
