This was a good moment for him, considering the Sokovia Accords destroyed his relationship with Captain America. Tony was about to announce Spider-Man as the latest member of the Avengers with a freshly made Iron-Spidey suit. However, the young protégé declined.
Current movements: Tony has been leading the Avengers… well, what still remains of the Avengers. King T’Challa is ruling Wakanda, Vision is off the grid with Wanda Maximoff, and Black Widow is off the grid with Captain America. So, who’s left of Team Iron Man? Pretty much just War Machine and Spider-Man, the unofficial recruit.
Current whereabouts: The Infinity War trailer spotted Tony in New York City alongside Doctor Stephen Strange, who are collectively investigating the arrival of a mysterious floating mechanism hovering above the city. No doubt it’s related to Thanos’ current invasion. He will eventually make his way to Wakanda to fight alongside his former team – and he’s bringing his Hulkbuster armor with him.
