Last spotted: Sam Wilson was locked away in The Raft with Clint Barton (Hawkeye), Scott Lang (Ant-Man) and Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch). While Captain America and The Winter Soldier made their escape from an airport assault involving Tony Stark (Iron Man), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), King T’Challa (Black Panther), Peter Parker (Spider-Man), James Rhodes (War Machine) and Vision, the quartet were arrested for breaking the Sokovia Accords.
Current whereabouts: Sam went his own way after the events of Captain America: Civil War, as did the other now-former Avengers who sided with Captain America. He emerged from hiding when he was called into action to fight against Thanos.
“Where we were in Civil War, we didn't have the best moral support from the people because we were dropping cities on their babies,” Anthony Mackie said. “But now, people are starting to rally around this again.”
