Last spotted: The Winter Soldier sought refuge in Wakanda. With the mental programming Hydra instilled within him years ago still active, the assassin known as Bucky willingly went into a cryogenic stasis until the time came when the scientists of the most advanced nation on the globe found a way to remove them.
He was last spotted walking around the African fields with Shuri. Children leapt about, calling him “The White Wolf,” suggesting Bucky may have been performing certain military actions for T’Challa’s kingdom – but that’s just speculation at this point.
Current whereabouts: Bucky is still in Wakanda. When Captain America arrives with his superhero entourage to prepare for the battle and seek medical treatment for his vibranium buddy, Vision, it marks the reunion of Cap and his old pal from Brooklyn – and he’s got a new vibranium arm to replace the one he lost in Civil War. (Well, we assume it’s vibranium.)
Bucky and Sam Wilson (a.k.a. Falcon), meanwhile, are still throwing jabs at each other. According to audio surveillance of when Team Cap come back together in Wakanda, Sam tells Bucky, “I still hate you.”
