Russia's biggest director, Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch and Day Watch) has a sequel for Wanted in the works, reports Russia-ic, and he plans on resurrecting Fox's character. Whether or not Angelina Jolie will spend enough time away from the kids to reprise her role is a question that goes unanswered. Apparently, the final scene for sexy assassin Fox showed her curving a bullet and shooting the other assassins of The Fraternity in the head—along with herself—with that one bullet. Maybe the screenwriters plan to bring back Fox through a candle wax bath, which allowed assassins to heal super fast, hence, all the topless shots of Jolie.
Wanted had already deviated substantially from the comic, so if bullets can bend, anything goes. Bekmambetov said filming for the sequel will begin late fall or winter in America, India and Russia.
