Yesterday evening, the Alamo Drafthouse tweeted that there would be a special announcement arriving Friday morning. Lo and behold, that announcement is a 70mm Film Series at the Alamo Ritz, beginning August 24.

The film series includes classic films like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Ghostbusters and West Side Story mixed with lesser known films like Play Time and Baraka. Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master will also screen in September in the format the director intended his film to be seen in.

Here's a quick run-down of the film series schedule:

West Side Story, August 24-August 30

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, August 31-September 6

Baraka, September 7-September 13

Ghostbusters, September 14-September 20

The Master, September 21-TBD

Cleopatra and Play Time are TBD
