New year, new movies! As we wrap up 2024, Fandango asked move than 9,000 ticket buyers what they’re looking forward to in 2025.
Here’s what we learned:
· 89% of ticket-buyers are hoping to see more movies in 2025 than 2024, with 53% saying they’re planning to see more than six films in theaters
· 60% plan to see movies in a premium format in 2025
· Moviegoers are excited for the next chapters in franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and John Wick.
