Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (1987) - Before Sam Raimi became Mr. Spider-Man, he directed the ultimate horror comedy. Watch and dread. (Note to viewers: excessive gore abounds in this trailer!)
30 Days of Night (2007) - Moral of this video: don't stand so close to the kitchen window at night. You'll regret it.

The Shining (1980) - Heerrrreeee's Jack! Well, maybe not in this clip. But it's still ultra-scary. Something about the music, the ominous lettering, and ewwwwww, what comes next is just plain yucky.
Saw IV (2007) - Darn that Jigsaw killer. Even if you're a big, strong dude, in a 30 second teaser, you're done for.
Aliens (1986) - Technically, this classic's a sci-fi movie. But it's actually more sci-fi-action-horror, and guaranteed to scare you silly.
The Hidden (1987) - Alright, you haven't heard of it. And this video clip's more of a scene than a teaser or a trailer. Still, rent this. Think Terminator meets Alien meets Twin Peaks.
The Exorcist (1973) - The first few frames of this trailer are creepy. What follows is just as sickening. Is that a monkey head in the clip? I sure hope not.
John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) - This is a cult classic that just gets more scary, claustrophopbic and gross as the years go by. Our clip touts other videos from the director, too, and that's a good thing.
Dawn of the Dead (2004) - Zack Snyder directed 300. But he directed this remake first, and the trailer is primed for maximum, cracks in the walls, rock and roll thrills. Go Ving Rhames!
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - One, two, guess who's looking for you? Good 'ole Freddy Kreuger. A few installments in, he was just kind of whacky, but this first time out, yikes! Run, Johnny Depp, run!
28 Days Later (2003) - The new generation of horror begins here. This is a great trailer, and a great modern horror flick.
Carrie (1976) - Piper Laurie's a horror mom for the ages, and the VHS grainy video here is appropriate for this '70s era classic. John Travolta and his feathery locks are no match against Sissy Spacek with pig blood in her hair.
Halloween (1978) - What else can be said? It's the one and only ultimate Halloween horror film, and the trailer's pretty good, too. 13 cheers for Mike Myers! Woohoo!
