This award-winning family drama comes from Denmark, where it was produced according to the guidelines of the Dogma 95 manifesto, ten rules for movie making developed by iconoclastic directors Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinteberg. Kresten (Anders W. Berthelsen) is a yuppie in Copenhagen, although his roots are in the countryside.
