During a stagnant economy Miles (Shane Callahan) loses his office job on a coin toss. Having hit rock bottom he tosses his last penny into a plaza wishing fountain. A thought sets his eyes alight. He retrieves his coin. Then another. And another. Assembling a team of friend Jack (Cullen Moss) and kindly stranger Durwood (Don Henderson Baker) he builds an enterprise of harvesting coins from wishing fountains. Miles takes to the American highway and finds love in an indebted young traveler (Anna Stromberg) while Jack and Durwood grow the venture from home. As the business booms, everyone’s idea of success collides and sets the adventure on an unexpected trajectory.
