Michele Apicella (Nanni Moretti) is a neurotic young man dealing with family issues that sometimes center around his disillusioned mother (Luisa Rossi). He's also often flanked by friends such as the anxious college student Mirko (Fabio Traversa), with whom he discusses and reacts to the issues of the day.
