What is Da Co Hoai Lang - Hello Vietnam about?

The story is about the homesickness of the sons and daughters of Vietnam who lives abroad. Ong Tu was brought to America by his son Nguyen. On a winter day, he escaped the nursing home to go home and celebrate his wife’s death anniversary. On his way, he met Ong Nam, a childhood friend who helps him with the ceremony. At home, he got into a fight with his granddaughter, who was brought up in the American culture. After the fight, Ong Tu and Ong Nam decide to go out into the snow storm to find inner peace. They got on a high rooftop, looking out to the city, drinking wine and smoking herbs, and Ong Tu finally gets to go home.
