After being abruptly dismissed from her position as the top Hollywood film critic, Astrid Von Star calls on her only surviving ex-husband to be her personal cinematographer for her new film project. As her passion wildly takes over her sanity, she reminisces about her seven tragically failed marriages and the unsolved mystery that caused her to be widowed six times. Her behind-the-scenes meltdowns, performance art, and indulgence in drunken creative expression lead her to lose touch with reality. Delusions of grandeur are followed by a deadly nervous breakdown. Her abandoned film footage becomes a critically-acclaimed account of insanity and art after being discovered by a highly regarded Professor, who boldly re-edits her film and develops an unhealthy obsession for Astrid herself.
